Catherine Boudreault is a horticulturist specialist responsible for the araceae collection and the tropical food plants greenhouse at the Jardin botanique de Montréal. A 2004 graduate of the Jardin botanique, she’s since published numerous horticultural studies in leading journals and held a water management position at the Jardin botanique. Currently she’s developing an expertise in the area of plant use in people’s daily lives as well as in food history. The plant world, rich in biodiversity, has also allowed her to present her artistic side by exploring the world of watercolors to create botanical illustrations. An impassioned communicator, she shares her love for living things.
