The holder of a bachelor’s degree in environmental studies and biology (University of Ottawa) as well as a master’s in insect ecology (University of Guelph), Charles-Étienne Ferland is project manager and coordinator of Mission Monarch’s educational activities at the Insectarium de Montréal | Space for Life.

Author of the novels Dévorés and Métamorphoses (published by L’Interligne), the short-story collection Une dent contre l’ordinaire (Prise de parole) and the album of compositions for piano Microcosmes (Les Productions Microfaune), Charles-Étienne combines arts and sciences to tell stories in different forms. He draws a tremendous amount of his inspiration from biodiversity and the infinite complexity of natural sciences.
