Thanks to her older sister, who often took her camping and hiking, Émilie developed a taste for nature and the outdoors at a very young age. After earning a bachelor’s degree in biology, she worked as a nature interpreter at Parc de la rivière des Mille-Îles, and since 2016 has been a science guide at the Biodôme, science popularization being something she especially enjoys. Émilie has been involved in various events, such as Butterflies Go Free and Gardens of Light, and has also been an educator at the Espace pour la vie day camp. To help her expand environmental awareness when she interacts with the public, Émilie recently entered an environment-education program at UQAM.
