Chrysalises in good hands

This week you can meet Pierre Veilleux, an entomologist at the Montréal Insectarium and a real butterfly enthusiast. He’ll lead you into the breeding greenhouses where the precious chrysalises received from overseas are hanging. Over the past 19 years, Pierre has helped hundreds of thousands of butterflies complete their metamorphoses and go on to thrill visitors in the Jardin botanique’s Main Exhibition Greenhouse.
