Gheylen Daghfous is a curator at the Biodôme de Montréal and a research consultant with the Université de Montréal Department of Neurosciences. He holds a doctorate in biology and physiology of organisms from the Muséum national d’Histoire naturelle in Paris, and did postdoctoral work in neurobiology at Université de Montréal. At the Biodôme, he’s involved primarily in managing animal populations and in maintaining the ecological concepts of the different ecosystems. He also works on various wildlife research and conservation projects.

Following her doctorate at the Université de Montréal, Emiko Wong did a training internship in avian medicine. To combine her twin passions, the discovery of new cultures and the animal world, she worked as part of an international cooperation project in a wildlife rehabilitation center in Guatemala. She’s also acquired experience in a private clinic. For a few years she’s been part of the team of the Biodôme, first as a clinical veterinarian and now as division head of live collections, research and scientific development.

Gheylen Daghfous is curator of live collections and Emiko Wong is division head of live collections, research and scientific development at the Montréal Biodôme.
