Isabelle Paquin

Curious and impassioned, Isabelle Paquin has a number of strings to her bow. After graduating, first, with a bachelor’s degree in theatre arts, and then taking an advanced graduate diploma in cultural organizations management from HEC Montréal, she began her career at the Jardin botanique de Montréal in 2004 once she’d earned a diploma in ornamental horticulture at the same institution. In charge of the Food Garden since 2011, she concerns herself with renewing the way we look at food plants, those in our day-to-day lives, and making the educational aspect more interesting by way of creative and stimulating presentations. Isabelle has a keen interest in discovering other cultures, particularly in connection with cooking. In this regard, Isabelle wishes to influence the return of flavors to our plate by bringing together at the same table the artisans of change (seed growers, chefs, farmers).
