Jérôme Gagnon has always had an interest for the environment, horticulture and the insect world. As a child, he would often visit his godmother up north and would spend hours frolicking in the garden observing all that had to be seen. A gardener at the Jardin botanique de Montréal since 2019 and a horticulturist since January 2021, Jérôme is passionate about horticulture including shrubs of all sorts, Cypripediums (native orchids), as well as Spring ephemerals. Jérôme is the Specialized Horticulturist responsible for the Shrub Garden, the Leslie Hancock Garden as well as the Québec Corner.
