Sea strawberry, Red soft coral

Sea strawberry feeds as do sea anemones, using the tentacles surrounding its mouth. These tentacles are tipped with tiny poison darts that the polyp uses to paralyze its prey. Nudibranches do not eat the entire red soft coral, but instead chew on different parts of its body, which eventually regenerate themselves.
