Canada fly-honeysuckle

The flowers can be made into syrup and even wine, if one has the patience to pick enough of them. The fruit of related species is edible and it is possible that the fruit of this species may also be. They are acidic and generally purgative, if not emetic, however. Honeysuckle is considered the symbol of fidelity and of the month of May.
