Sea lymegrass

It grows on sand, gravel and in the clefts of rocks and cliffs. It lives along cold and very cold shorelines in the northern hemisphere. The species is circumpolar. It is rarely found in the interior of the continent, except sometimes around large lakes or along some rivers in northern Québec. It is also occasionally found along roadsides in the maritime regions.
