Perennial native to Québec. Pretty plant with notched foliage similar to that of the astilbes. Its small white springtime flowers are followed by fruit that turns bright red in the summer. The fruit is toxic for humans, but is consumed by birds. To be grown in quantity for a more beautiful effect.
