Origin and description

Perennial native to Québec. This large damp-soil plant is happiest when bordering a basin or pool. Ideally should be mass planted, as the base tends to become sparser.

Height: 100 to 150 cm (sometimes up to 200 cm)
Width: 60 cm
Blooms: pink or purple, July to September
Attraction for wildlife: attracts butterflies and pollinators
