TÈ BIOSPHÈRE: a new work that explores the relationship between art and science, through collaboration between choreographer-documentalist Rhodnie Désir and multidisciplinary artist Kama La Mackerel.
Space-time will be the measure and the unit of encounter, in a truly intimate setting, and in the name of the environment: in the heart of a sphere shine the connections with the earth, the stars, living beings, and humans. In keeping with the TÈ series on territory, Rhodnie Désir pursues her choreographic-documentary approach, this time in the heart of Montreal's heritage at the Biosphère.
Within the framework of an artistic residency, on the cusp between archives and testimonies, the two artists leverage their common interest to take in the history, the memories and especially the knowledge of the environmental specialists involved in this institution. TÈ BIOSPHÈRE is a multifaceted artistic work that will materialize through the body of Rhodnie Désir and the words of Kama La Mackerel.
