To capture the loveliest moments of yourevents, the Jardin botanique and the other Espace pour la vie museums offer you the opportunity to shoot lifestyle photos (wedding, maternity, family, graduation…) on their sites. You can take advantage of nature’s vibrant colors to capture your memories.
Photos may be taken during public opening hours inside one of the greenhouses or gardens of the Jardin botanique, as well as in the Grand Vivarium of the Insectarium.
No contract or reservation is required. Precautions must be taken not to damage the premises or interfere with the Garden’s activities, while enabling other visitors to enjoy their visit to the fullest.
Please note that we do not offer any complimentary services: accompaniment, transportation on site, etc.
Minimal fees for participants
Individual admission
Participants must pay parking fees and entry fees:
- In greenhouses
- In outdoor gardens (May to October inclusively)
- In the Great Vivarium of the Insectarium
- In other Espace pour la vie museums
Groups of 15 people or more receive a 15% discount. Also, groups of 21 receive a discount – the 21st person gets in free. No reservation is required: you will get these discounts at the ticket office.
For photos taken in the greenhouses or inside museums

An additional $125 per group is required (maximum of 10 people admitted for the photo at one time).
- Tripods are not allowed in the greenhouses, in the Great Vivarium of the Insectarium or inside of our museums.
- Depending on how many people are visiting at that time of day or year, the agent at the entrance will decide whether photos may be taken, to ensure a pleasant visit for all visitors.
- Persons involved in taking photos must ensure to minimize any inconvenience to other visitors. In this respect, Espace pour la vie reserves the right to intervene to preserve the quality of the visit for all visitors.
- The person responsible for taking photos and their guests accept responsibility for any damage that they may be caused to persons, to Espace pour la vie property and their own personal effects, including their clothing.
