On Friday, April 10, Espace pour la vie will offer Quebecers “Coco Incognito”, a fun and original gift to keep them company for the long Easter weekend. Aimed at children ages 4 to 8, the tale Coco Incognito is an audiovisual show inspired by the animals in the Biodôme's tropical forest, narrated by Sophie Faucher and performed by Anne-Elisabeth Bossé, Didier Lucien, Madeleine Péloquin, Anne Casabonne, Anne Lalancette and Jean-François Nadeau. It will be broadcast (in French only) free of charge on April 10, 11 and 12
in three separate online videos each day as of 10 AM on espacepourlavie.ca/coco-incognito, accompanied by tutorials on how to create puppets at home with the whole family.

Coco Incognito is a story created by the artist and author Valérie Galarneau—who drew her inspiration from the animals of the Biodôme’s rainforest—and directed by Éloi Cousineau. To entertain the whole family, a number of puppet-making tutorials featuring the star animals and created especially for the occasion by designer Christine Plouffe, will also be available online to accompany young and old alike in their adventure at home. Families are invited to share their creations on social networks using the hashtag #CocoIncognito.

With the Biodôme’s tropical rainforest as a backdrop, a mysterious egg suddenly appears in the habitat of the Tamarind monkey. But no one knows where it came from, or what's inside... Could it be a chick? Or a lizard? A cunning character with more than one trick up his sleeve, the Tamarin monkey would like to solve this enigma and find out what's inside the mystery egg. Children will have to help him find the answer!
“This show was tailor-made for the Biodôme in 2011,” says its director Yves Paris. “The Coco Incognito theatre team, in collaboration with the Biodôme's animal specialists, worked together on the script, the set and the design of the puppets in order to reproduce the living conditions of the animals and plants of the Amazonian forest as accurately as possible. The new virtual version of the project, adapted for everyone’s enjoyment, was created without puppets, each participant working from their home in light of the current situation.”
Espace pour la vie is made up of four attractions on the same site: the Biodôme, Insectarium, Jardin botanique and Planétarium Rio Tinto Alcan. These four prestigious municipal institutions form Canada's largest natural science museum complex. Together, they are launching a daring, creative urban movement, encouraging all of us to rethink the connection between humankind and nature and cultivate a new way of living.
