Asclepias tuberosa var. interior.

In addition to the plants catalogued by the World Conservation Union that are part of collections of living plants at the Jardin botanique de Montréal, the Garden is also home to many rare Québec plant species. They will soon be integrated into the Biodiversity Trail as part of the Emergency Conservation project.

Although they frequently come from undetermined sources and cannot be a source of conservation for a population, these plants have a place as part of the Biodiversity Trail, as they illustrate the diversity of Québec’s rare plants.
