Remember to pick your flowers on a sunny day, before they are completely open, because they will continue to open as you dry them indoors.
The best time to pick them is in the morning, before it gets too hot. Then tie them in small bunches and hang them upside down in a dark, cool and well-ventilated spot. It is best to strip the leaves from the stems, as they tend to dry more slowly than the flowers. It will take anywhere from 3 to 6 weeks for them to dry completely.
