Jean-Philippe Gagnon

Jean-Philippe Gagnon’s journey has been that of a biology enthusiast who’s made a home for himself at the Biodôme for the last 25 years. A curious and methodical observer, he has a special interest in the interactions among living things that take place silently in a natural environment. No surprise, then, that ecology lay at the heart of his academic training and that the study of the selective pressures that influence the behavior of animals would become his specialty. Armed with his experience in the living collections, he’s highly familiar with the secrets and anecdotes that have wound their way behind the scenes over the years. A modern-day explorer, he continues his observations of the living world, which he helps people discover through popularization and a sense of amazement.
