Mathilde Gaudreau is doing her master’s degree in Jacques Brodeur’s entomology and biological control laboratory, located in the Institut de recherche en biologie végétale (IRBV) at the Jardin botanique. Her fascination with the diversity of life led to her developing a passion for insects, and especially for parasitic wasps. She’s interested in the effect of environmental factors on the behavior of biological control agents in natural conditions. Mathilde spends her free time collecting, pinning, and identifying insects for her own collection.

Mathilde Gaudreau is a master’s student in biological sciences at Université de Montréal.
