Since the age of 18, Maxime Pivin Lapointe has devoted his professional career to teaching and communicating science. With a major in Science education and a minor in physics, Maxime engaged in teaching for a few years before returning to his first love in CEGEP, sharing his fascination of the universe. After 10 years observing and presenting the night sky in the Mont Mégantic region, he travelled Quebec giving talks in high schools and CEGEPs. Since 2013, he has shared his talents in visual conception, and as a communicator, with the Planetarium team.

Maxime Pivin Lapointe is a science communicator, an activities and educational program creator at the Rio Tinto Alcan Planetarium.
