Chantal Routhier has been curator of the Terrestrial Animal Collection at the Montréal Biodôme since 1994. Over the years she’s worked in a number of zoological institutions in Canada. She began her career in 1986 as an animal keeper at the Granby Zoo, before moving to the Toronto Zoo until 1990. For the following four years the renowned Granby institution welcomed her back as supervisor of animal care. From 1994 to 2017, in addition to overseeing the day-to-day activities of the Biodôme team that works directly on animal care, she participated in several conservation and animal breeding projects.

Chantal Routhier was responsible for the terrestial collections at the Montréal Biodôme.
