Evelyne Daigle

A biologist by training, Evelyne has a passion for nature, the sea, education and travel. She’s worked at Space for Life since 1992, as a guide and designer for educational programs at the Biodôme, as well as on team coordination at the Jardin botanique.

In 2012 she boarded the Sedna IV, biologist-filmmaker Jean Lemire’s sailing ship, for the 1000 Days for the Planet mission. Her role: communicating the beauty and fragility of nature to Québec schools and Space for Life visitors.

She’s the author of two young-reader documentaries, As Long as There Are Whales and The World of Penguins, originally published by Éditions les 400 coups in 2000 and 2006.

Evelyne has been part of educational expeditions in the Arctic and in Antarctica with the organization Students on Ice, as an educator of young people from 14 to 18.

Evelyne Daigle is a designer of educational programs and a science guide at the Biodôme as well as team coordinator at the Jardin botanique.
