Not only is the Planétarium an incredible tool for the dissemination of knowledge in astronomy, it is also a unique setting where researchers, scientific mediators and artists meet, united by the desire to better understand our Universe, improve our relationship with Nature and make Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) accessible to all.
To carry out these ambitious goals, the Planétarium decided to focus its research on four main directions : the search for biosignatures on exoplanets, the archeo-characterization of our Solar System thanks to its unique meteorite collection, the visualization of complex big data coming from STEM, and the under-representation of girls and women in STEM.
