Testimonial
The garden has improved over the last year. We added more flowers in order to control for pests but also provide more pollinators. We added more perennials flowers to the side of the house also for the same reason. The four trees are growing (1 cherry tree, 2 pear trees and the apple tree). They were pruned in order for them to grow more fruits. We had our first harvest in conjunction with Les Fruits Defendu and brought 27 pounds of cherries to share. We also just recently taken 100 pears from both Pear Tree. The three mature trees provide lots of protection as we are close to Sherbrooke St and we see more and more cardinals and blue Jays than ever before. We added some water bowl for the birds but do not feed birds in the summer as it brings squirrels. Lots of blueberry and rasberries this year, lots bees and monarchs because of putting in more flowers than before.
We compost our own vegetables food in the garden in order to redistribute in the new year. All fertilizer and weed removers are all natural.
It is our healing garden.
