Espace pour la vie day camps are jointly managed by Espace pour la vie (City of Montreal) and the Société des Amis du Biodôme (a non-profit partner). Together, we prioritize the protection of sensitive information you entrust to us when registering your children for our day camps. We are committed to handling your information with rigor, transparency, and security. Types of Information Collected

When registering, we collect information about you, the child you are registering, and other individuals involved in your child’s participation in our day camps (emergency contacts, authorized pick-up persons, etc.). This information may include, but is not limited to, the following:

  • Identity: name, address, email, phone number
  • Your child’s medical information: allergies, medications, specific conditions
  • Your payment information, processed exclusively by Amilia, our secure registration platform

This information is necessary to manage your child’s participation in our activities, ensure their safety, and maintain effective communication.

Use of Information

The information we collect is used to:

  • Manage registration and participation in our day camps
  • Ensure your child’s safety (including medical reasons) and respond to emergencies
  • Communicate with you about camp activities (schedule, rules, code of conduct, etc.)
  • Comply with legal and regulatory obligations, particularly regarding health and safety

Sharing of Information

Your data is jointly managed by Espace pour la vie and the Société des Amis du Biodôme. We use the Amilia platform to manage registrations. This platform collects and processes your information in accordance with its own privacy policy.

Data Security

We apply physical, organizational, and technical measures to protect your information against unauthorized access, loss, or disclosure. This includes using the secure Amilia platform, which also implements appropriate security measures to protect the data it processes. We have taken steps to ensure that only authorized personnel have access to your information.

Retention Period

Information is retained for the period necessary to manage registration, participation, and the safety of your children in day camps, and for as long as we need to maintain ongoing communication with you about activities. We also comply with retention periods required by legal obligations.

Your Rights

Under Law 25, you have the right to:

  • Access your information
  • Request corrections
  • Request deletion (in certain cases)

Consent

By registering for our day camps and providing personal information, you consent to the collection, use, and sharing of this information as described. You also consent to the collection and processing of your information via the Amilia platform, in accordance with its own privacy policy.
