Giant granadilla

Giant granadillas are grown for their fruit and for sale as ornamental plants.
The leaves and the skin of the fruit are used to treat abscesses, boils, burns and wounds. The leaves are also used to treat sore throats, headaches, neuralgia and rheumatic pains. The buds are valued as a sedative. The tubers are edible.
