Origin and description

Perennial native to Québec. This vigorous plant resembles true sunflowers, but it blooms earlier. The nectar and pollen from its flowers attract a great number of pollinators and butterflies. Its seeds are a treat for certain birds.

Height: 90 to 120 cm

Flowering: yellow, July to August
