The garden has been in the family for over 25 years and I am now taking care of it. I have played in the garden as a child and as my grandparents aren't around anymore, I am proud to contribute to food security and sovereignty by actively growing and learning from the plants and passed down knowledge - especially about indigenous kinds of plants.
There is a disconnect between food and people from the minorities due to the lack of time and the rise of supermarkets.
